Sacrament of Marriage
Arrangements are to be made with
one of the priests as soon as possible,
so as to insure a proper and time and adequate
preparation for this Sacrament.
Sacraments for the Sick/Homebound
Anointing:
Anytime upon request in the home of the sick.
Communion:
A Priest, or Eucharistic Minister of the parish will bring communion to
those parishioners confined to home.  
Please notify the Rectory when someone is ill or admitted to the hospital.
Sacrament of Baptism
Parents are required to register their children for Baptism, at the
Rectory, at least one month before Baptism.
This allows sufficient time to participate in our Baptismal program,
which is a requirement.
The program consists of:
1. A group instructional meeting for all parents who are having their
baby baptized a week before the Baptism.
2. The Baptisms take place First Sunday of the month at 1:30 PM
and the Second Sunday of the month, during the 12 PM Mass.

Religious Education and parental participation in the
Sacramental Preparation Program.

Adult Funeral Servers – Serve parish funerals.

Altar Servers – Students, Grades 3 and up – must have received the Sacrament of 1st Eucharist.

Cantors and Choir -  “When You Sing You Pray Twice”.  Lend your voice and musical talent to sing for God.
Choir sings September to June and at special parish Masses.

Children’s Choir –Children who sing at the monthly Family Mass.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word – Parishioners share their faith with the children of the parish at the 10 AM Mass, providing
them with instruction on the Sunday readings at their level from the Children’s Lectionary.

Environment Committee – Parishioners who assist in decorating the interior and exterior of Church.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist – Practicing parish members invited to distribute
the Body and Blood of Christ at parish Masses and to the homebound parishioners.

Food Pantry – Coordinates collection and distribution of canned goods to feed the hungry.

Hospital Visitors – Parishioners who visit the sick of our Parish who are confined to the hospital.

Knitting Club – Group of parishioners who meet on Sunday afternoons in the Parish Center,
seasonally, to knit & crochet items for donation to organizations in need.

Martha Ministry – Parishioners who assist in preparation of Altar Linens.

REFO – (Religious Education Family Organization) Parents/guardians of Religious Education children who meet
the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8PM and plan children’s activities.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – Adult preparation for reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and
Eucharist.  Informal classes and discussions about
Catholic Doctrines and teachings.  September to June.
Priests of the parish and interested parishioners conduct the classes together and

Rosary Society – Organization of parish women who get together throughout the year
for spiritual and social events.  Monthly meeting on Tuesdays.

Scouts -  Boy Scouts meet Thursdays at 7:00 PM in the school basement.

St. Joseph’s Guild – Parishioners whose craftsman skills are utilized to fix, repair or

St. Rose’s Guild – Parishioners who help beautify the Church and grounds with the use of flowers,

Track Team for Children – Seasonal boys and girls age level competition in the

Ushers/Hospitality Ministry – Men and Women who provide hospitality,
greeting and welcome primarily at parish Masses and who take up the offering and
