Registration with St. Henry Parish is simple – drop by the rectory office and fill
out a registration card.  If you need to have a registration card mailed to you, or if
you are not sure whether or not you are registered, call 201-436-857.
Remember, registration with your parish is a requirement if you wish to be a
godparent or a sponsor for Confirmation.

            Friday Morning Faith Sharing
The Friday Morning Faith Sharing Group (10 AM—11:30 AM in the Rectory)
has concluded its study of many of the women of the Old Testament, their
lives and their times.  Join us, if you wish, for the remaining Fridays before
Lent as we consider “Woman, Image of God”.  Upon finishing this topic, we
shall begin Book II of the “Why Catholic?” series, Part Two of the Catechism,
the Sacraments.  We shall pursue this throughout the entire Lenten and Easter
seasons (from Fri., Feb. 24th—Friday, May 25th).  We would be happy to
have you join us.

St. Henry Children’s Playgroup
The objective of the group is to create an
opportunity for children to gain social and spiritual
skills while allowing parents and guardians the
opportunity to socialize.  The group will meet the
first and third Wednesday of each month, 9:30—
10:45 AM in the 2nd fl. library.  The group will
begin with prayer and introductions and will consist
of both informal and formal playtime.  Adults may
bring refreshments for themselves and children.

               New Music CD for Sale
  The Saint Henry Music Ministry has recorded an outstanding CD
containing both Choir and Organ music.  It features our Parish Choir
singing a wide variety of music and our large pipe organ played by
Chad Perry, Director of Music Ministry.
    This CD can be purchased for $10 if you pick it up at the Rectory
Office during regular business hours.  It can also be purchased by
mail by sending a check for $15 to the Rectory, 82 West 29th Street,
Bayonne, NJ 07002, and giving your mailing address.  We will
package and mail it to you.
Rosary Society News…..
  • Our next meeting will be Sunday February 5th after the 10 AM Mass.  Our guest
    speaker will be Dr. Diane Traflet, Associate Dean and Assistant Professor of
    Pastoral Theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology,
    Seton Hall University and founder and co-director of the Seminary’s Institute for
    Christian Spirituality.  Dr. Traflet spoke at a previous St. Henry Parish Mission.  
    She is an inspired and inspiring speaker.  Light refreshments will be served.  All
    women of the parish are invited—kindly RSVP to Eileen at 201-988-1796 or

THIS WEEKEND, Jan. 28th/29th is the
beginning of Catholic Schools Week.  We will have
a 2nd Collection for the benefit of the operation of
All Saints Catholic Academy, Bayonne’s co-
sponsored Catholic elementary school.  Your
generosity is appreciated!
St. Henry CHOIR News…
       
NEW CHOIR MEMBERS
Our PARISH CHOIR has begun practice on
music for Lent and Easter, Tuesdays at 7 PM in
the church.  We invite new members to join.  
The Choir is open to adults (high school age or
above).  Consider making choir a part of your
Lenten observance this year.  You will be
serving your parish in a very important ministry.
