SOLES FOR SOULS 5 K RUN—On Saturday, October 2nd, 8 AM—11 AM, the Office for Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Newark, will hold a 5K Run/3K Walk at Branch Brook Park, Newark to benefit the Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children. The event is open to all and includes kids’ dashes, prizes, children’s activities, awards, food and fellowship; and starts with a prayer and praise session under the canopy of trees at the Elwood Ave. entrance.
